SSS OPENS NEW SERVICE OFFICE IN TAYTAY, RIZAL TO IMPROVE ACCESSIBILITY AND SERVICE EFFICIENCY

Taytay, Rizal — The Social Security System (SSS) formally inaugurated its newest service office in Taytay, Rizal, marking a major step toward expanding public access to social security services in the area known as the Garments Capital of the Philippines.
SSS President and Chief Executive Officer Robert Joseph Montes De Claro, Social Security Commissioner Eva B. Arcos, and Taytay Mayor Allan Martine S. De Leon led the ribbon-cutting ceremony held at the new SSS Taytay Service Office located on the 3rd floor of the Manila East Arcade II Building, within the municipal government complex in Barangay San Juan.
Operating from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, the office is poised to serve SSS members and employers in Taytay and nearby areas. With a floor area of 75 square meters, the facility is equipped to handle over 300 transactions daily.
In his speech, De Claro emphasized the strategic significance of the new office as part of SSS’s ongoing transformation into a more service-oriented organization. “This new office will bring SSS services closer to our members and employers in the municipality and surrounding areas, especially considering the presence of many micro and small businesses in the town. We are confident that this new SSS office will make a significant difference in their lives,” he said.
The SSS executive also lauded the local government of Taytay for its full support, including providing lease-free office space and covering the renovation and internet connectivity costs.
This collaboration, he noted, reflects a shared commitment to public service.
The Taytay branch is the latest addition to SSS’s growing network of local service offices across the Philippines. These are designed to simplify transactions and enhance access to services for both members and employers, especially in business-heavy communities.
Services offered at the new office include member registration, issuance of employer compliance certificates, membership record updates, and processing requests under the Annual Confirmation of Pensioners (ACOP) Program.
Additionally, the office is equipped with an e-center that enables users to register and manage their My.SSS accounts, recover user IDs or reset passwords, and update employer profiles.
With the opening of the SSS Taytay Service Office, the agency reaffirms its commitment to delivering efficient, member-focused services to every corner of the country. (Latigo Reportorial Team)
